Dear Sacred Heart families,
Working to carry out Sacred Heart's mission of promoting faith in Jesus Christ, educating youth and effectively ministering to all requires a visionary plan. This plan came to fruition at the end of our seven year MNSAA accreditation cycle. The accreditation process affirmed the positive steps taken toward our mission and identified areas of growth which we will work to address with our new School Strategic Plan (SSP).
As you may remember, we began our self-study in April of 2021 with a parent satisfaction survey and completed an intense self-study over the next year. Thank you to all our stakeholders who responded and provided valuable feedback about our school. With information collected from the survey and self-study, our school leadership, faculty/staff and SSP committee members designed our new School Strategic Plan, which will guide us in our steps toward school improvement. To take a closer look at our findings and the plan, please review the documents linked below.
The final step in our accreditation process took place in April 2022, as we welcomed an outside team of ten educators to Sacred Heart. This team observed the school in session, interviewed faculty and staff, and learned everything they could about Sacred Heart over the course of three days. Their main objectives were to validate the accuracy of our self-study, evaluate our compliance with MNSAA standards, and provide valuable insight and feedback into improving our school. To hear from our Sacred Heart community, the team reached out to parents, who we encouraged to be honest and transparent as they shared their Sacred Heart experiences. In the end, this process helped us fulfill our mission to provide the best educational experience possible for our students as we form virtuous people and disciples of Christ.
