Hello and welcome to our Virtual Program Experience! The 5th and 6th Grade Music Classes have been hard at work learning songs, remembering lines, reviewing and recording, and re-recording in preparation for our Christmas Programs!
With students coming and going for various reasons, we have had to adjust our cast several times to cover parts – which the students have done phenomenally on such short notice!
This year we focused on the many names and titles of Jesus as a main theme for our program. There are more than 700 names and titles for our Lord in the Bible!
“The Christmas County Spelling Bee!” by Celeste Clydesdale examines a number of these names and titles by way of a Spelling Bee! The contestants are challenged to spell the names and titles of Jesus as their spelling words. The contestants are competing to be cast as Mary or Joseph in a live Manger Scene Pageant! There are 7 contestants, each very different from one another. Who will be cast as Mary or Joseph?! Who will spell the names and titles of our Lord, Jesus Christ, correctly?!?!
On behalf of the 5th and 6th Grade music classes, I would like to thank all of you for your time and support throughout these difficult times and hope that you enjoy… “THE CHRISTMAS COUNTY SPELLING BEE!”
Sacred Heart Bands have been hard at work rehearsing since school started in September. Each band, grades 5-12 have been improving their skills and abilities despite the pandemic. Band students have had to adjust by utilizing special ‘band masks’ and bell covers while they play as well as spreading out in our rehearsal spaces to accommodate for social distancing.
Please enjoy each of our Concert Videos!
