This year Rake-A-Thon is October 18th, 2021!

To live The Eagle Way, guided by Benedictine values, we are called to action. Our annual Rake-A-Thon event provides an opportunity to serve, caring for God’s creation through the celebration of our love for God and neighbor. Each fall our Preschool-Grade 12 school community disperses to pick up litter and rake the lawns of the elderly and handicapped. This annual event is part service project and part fundraiser as our students ask for sponsorships during this event. We are seeking sponsorships from all 50 states!

The Eagle Way is highlighted throughout the Rake-A-Thon.

• Community: Students rake side by side for a cause that serves others, betters their community, and supports the school. “The members should serve one another.” (Rule of Benedict 33).
• Dignity of Work: Students experience Christ through their work as they share in the fruitful experience that enriches the life of others. “…they live by the labor of their hands.” (Rule of Benedict 48).
