The National Alliance on Mental Illness

Provides a wealth of support, education, resources, and guidance around mental health disorders.  Also see NAMI-Minnesota for information relevant to Minnesota, including local and regional affiliates.




National Mental Health Association

Offers a number of resources, including a huge library of webinars on specific topics, including many Covid-19 mental health webinars and resources.


National Institute of Mental Health

Offers a lot of information on child and adolescent mental health, including warning signs for depression and other mental disorders.

Excellent source of information for teens and those who work with teens.  Includes a comprehensive list of mental health apps, and other resources that are specific to the struggles that many teens are facing and that are being amplified during Covid-19, including, but not limited to:

Life Teen Blog on Depression and Anxiety Consider using these resources with your teens.  These discussions are excellent and provide a Catholic context for discussing issues that so often get stuffed inside.


Catholic Charities Counseling Services-Fargo, ND Provide individual therapy, couples counseling and family therapy for people of all ages regardless of sex, race, color, religion, political view, national origin, social status, financial resources, or inability to pay for services.
