President and Principal 2015 School Year Welcome Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Sacred Heart School will begin another school year in its mission to form and enrich the faith of your children in the Lord Jesus Christ. On behalf of the staff at Sacred Heart, let us welcome you. We are happy that you have chosen Sacred Heart as your choice in education and look forward to serving you.

There are some positive changes this year; enrollment continues to grow. With this steady growth we plan to keep two sections of Kindergarten, adding a second section of 1st grade, and a second section of 6th grade. In the high school several classes have been split into multiple sections as well to keep student/teacher ratios low. We also are welcoming our new international and exchange students.

Course schedules are being finalized — and we are excited to add Anatomy & Physiology to the high school course listings.

With the expanded growth we have quite a few new faculty and staff members. In June, we were pleased to add the new K-12 Resource/504 position. The staff changes will be listed in a back-to-school folder that you can pick up at the registration desk on Tuition/Fee Payment Days on August 17 & 18.

We would like to remind parents who wish to volunteer in the school or attend class trips to complete the Safe Environment Training. All faculty, staff, and parent volunteers are required to do the Diocesan Safe Environment training annually. Click here to complete your training.

Please see the detailed information in this issue about the Tuition/Fee Payment Days, Back to School Night, Orientation Night, and Athletics information.

We are here to serve you and your children. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or stop by.

Your servants in Christ,
Carl Adolphson & David Andrys
