Religion
Sacred Heart believes strongly in providing sound teachings of the tradition and foundation of the Catholic Church, along with building faith in Jesus Christ. Spiritual development at Sacred Heart High School is multifaceted. This development is facilitated by community and individual prayer, service activities, a school atmosphere that adheres to the gospel values and through the study of the church’s teachings. The mission of the religion department is to concentrate on the study portion of the spiritual development while at the same time incorporating the elements into the classroom atmosphere. Through their study, students are made aware that God’s love is bountiful and unconditional.
