Recognizing that all have a right to encounter Christ, Sacred Heart provides initial and ongoing faith formation opportunities to foster adult discipleship. Here are some of the regular opportunities we provide.
For those who have not been baptized as a Christian, baptized in another Christian denomination, or simply been away from the faith for a long time and would like a refresher, we welcome you to join our RCIA group. Composed of weekly gatherings that study different topics and are led by knowledgeable presenters, these gatherings are the ideal setting for those searching for a place to ask questions about the faith. Normal gatherings are held during the school year. For more information, contact Deacon Stephen Thomas at 218-773-0877 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All parishioners are encouraged to grow in their faith by participating in one or more of the adult formation events held throughout the year. Some regularly opportunities include small group bible studies, men’s and women’s Lenten Retreats, annual day-long pilgrimage, and reflection reading material during Advent and Lent. Upcoming formation events are listed in the bulletin. For more information, contact the parish office.
