Raffle Calendars due!

The Sacred Heart Women's Ministry Social has been rescheduled for Monday, January 22nd from 6-9:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Social Hall.

 

The 7-12th food drive brought in an equivalent of 1,578 food items. Thank you to all who participated in helping stock the East Grand Forks Food Shelf. The winning classes for the challenge are: 1st place the juniors with 947 items, 2nd place 7th grade with 190 and 3rd place the 8th grade with 184 items.

 

You are invited to the Athletic Club Hoop-A-Thon Family Fun Night January 20th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart. Registration includes entrance into the shoot out tournament (two participants included!). $75 maximum family registration is available. There will be Cash Bingo (Cards are $5 each, 10 games and one black out bingo for a $250 cash prize) and games for the kids.  This event is open to families, all ages welcome, bring grandma and grandpa too! Dinner, Ice Cream and Concessions. Registration is available online HERE.

Rube Goldberg Projects: Overall Best: Marshmallow Express: Jack Zavoral and Reagan Starnes. Most Creative: The Cookie Deliverer: Gabby Zimprich, Aubre Bergum, and Cloe Hanson.

 

Sacred Heart School is looking to fill a position for a Part Time Gym and Vacuuming Position. More information can be found online HERE.

KROX will rebroadcast the 3rd and 4th grade Christmas program on December 23rd at 1:00pm.  

 

Our open houses are meant to be relaxed, fun, casual, and low pressure events. Tour guide training will be provided prior to the event, but help is needed greeting, checking families in, and meeting families.

 

Help with an Open House!

 

We're looking for current parents to help with tours and greet families as part of our Open House helpers.

  • Preschool - Jan. 15th
  • 6-12th - Jan 16th
  • Preschool through 12 - Jan 23rd
  • Open Houses start at 6:00 and are usually wrapped up in an hour.

If you are interested in helping on a particular night please contact Jen Koller at jkoller@sacredheartegf.net or at 218-773-0877 - ext. 182. Jen can help you find a place that works for you!

 
 

Activities & Athletics Update

The Sacred Heart Athletic Club is in need of filling an open position on our board. Please strongly consider this as we are needing an individual who is willing to help us with the direction we need to move in our financial endeavors to support the athletes of Sacred Heart. In Robotics yesterday the Middle School team received the Judges Award. The high school team placed 11th out of 26 teams. Way to go!
Tara Walski will be traveling to Jamestown with the KnightRider Gymnastics team with 10:45 dismissal this morning.
The Swimming team is home today against West Fargo, good luck Levi and all of our athletes competing today.

The boys basketball team fell to Thompson on Tuesday, 81-59 in a matchup of the two unbeaten teams. Jordan Tomkinson and Oscar Ortiz each scored 13 and Jack Gerber had 12 to lead the 5-1 Eagles.

 

All boys basketball teams are traveling to Fisher today to play the Knights. The junior high players will be dismissed at 3:15 today with the bus departing at 3:25. The 9-12 grade boys will depart at 5:00pm

 

The girls basketball team team fell to East Grand Forks 33-40. The Eagles had a difficult time scoring in the first half, but outscored the Green Wave 28-17 in the second half and could have pulled out a win after being down by 20 points. Jessica Remer led all scorers with 13 points and Katelyn Rudolph pulled down 8 rebounds. Thanks to all the students for coming to the game last night to cheer us on!

 

The girls basketball JV and varsity teams are traveling to Fertile tonight, the bus departs at 4:00, games begin at 6:00 with JV.
