Parent Notes & Reminders

Parents are reminded that there is no school starting on Wednesday, November 22nd. School will resume on Monday, November 27th. The 22nd is a teacher conference trade day. Enjoy the Thanksgiving break!

The Spring Fling committee is in need of a chandelier for this year's event.  If you have a chandelier you would like to donate to our fundraiser please contact Nicole Kolstoe at 701-739-2435 or email her at coliekolstoe@hotmail.com

From the TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE:  (Mary Koponen and Wanda Armstrong) Parents: Our sole purpose is to pamper the teachers & staff at Sacred Heart with our parents' help.  Interested in helping?  Just fill out and return the  Teacher Appreciation Parent’s form as soon as possible. Last year, 39 teachers & staff won door prizes, each worth $20-25.  We also furnished meals on 7 teacher workdays, plus had 2 "snack" days. If this sounds good to you, we could use your help. You may choose how: many parents send money or gift certificates or help provide food towards the meal, while others help set up or clean up.  So far this year, we have provided meals for approx. 70 and have given away 4 door prizes!

Grandparents Day at SHS

Thank you to all the Grandparents and guests who attended school the last few days with students! It was great to see the halls filled with so many new and familiar faces! We are posting pictures as the day goes on -- so please make sure to check back at the album below for elementary Grandparents Day photos!

Church Announcement:

Beginning December 1st, the external doors to the Church will be locked all day, except for before and after daily Masses, school Masses, and weddings and funerals. This is for the protection of the Parish Staff as well as our School. The Church itself will still be available if you wish to pray during the day, we just ask that you use door number 1 and enter the Church through the gathering space.

Mishaps, pinkeye, inciting World War III -- these are only a few of the many things that can go wrong during the production of a play. Plan to attend Sacred Heart's fall comedy performance full of the horrors and hardships that befall those who feel the call of the stage. In a series of hilarious examples, this play proves that drama can be a very dangerous thing and it must be avoided at all costs.

Fall Drama At SHS

Make plans THIS WEEKEND to attend Sacred Heart's fall comedy, 30 REASONS NOT TO BE IN A PLAY. The production is put on by students in grades 7-12th.
