Parent Notes & Reminders

Kindergarten parent reminder: Kindergarten conferences are October 5th and 6th. October 5th will be a 11:30 dismissal. Child care is available ONLY on October 5th. Please notify your teacher if you need care for your student until 3:20. There is NO SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTEN ON October 6th.

Many thanks to our families who donated items for our Elementary Art Program at Sacred Heart (our optional request on the school supply list);  the supplies are very much appreciated. - Mrs. Mary Kulas, Elementary Art Teacher.

Currently Hugo’s Our Family labels will be doubled (5 cents to 10 cents) which can add up in a hurry. Get your labels to the school donation box located in the parish office before Thursday, Sept 28th for us to take advantage of this deal.

From the TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE:  (Mary Koponen and Wanda Armstrong) Parents: Our sole purpose is to pamper the teachers & staff at Sacred Heart with our parents' help.  Interested in helping?  Just fill out and return the  Teacher Appreciation Parent’s form by Oct. 31, if possible. Last year, 39 teachers & staff won door prizes, each worth $20-25.  We also furnished meals on 7 teacher workdays, plus had 2 "snack" days. If this sounds good to you, we could use your help. You may choose how: many parents send money or gift certificates, while others help set up or clean up.

Mrs. Johnson's 4th grade did a great job saying the Apostle's Creed as they opened Real Presence Radio's Live Drive noon hour! Listen to them on the PODCAST by searching for "2017 Fall Live Drive 12PM THU" in Real Presences Radio Archive HERE. They lead the Apostles Creed a few minutes into the broadcast.

Due to homecoming activities next Friday afternoon, there will be no Praise and Worship on Sept 29th. The next Praise and Worship will be Oct. 13th.

Receive 100% credit towards your familiy fundraising credit through Rake-A-Thon sponsorship letters. Fill out and turn in your letters to the school office and we'll pay the postage! Questions or need more letters? Contact Courtney in the Development Office at

From the Athletic Club:

We are still searching for more volunteer help for our athletic events and athletic fundraisers for the school year. All money raised at these events goes to help create the best extra-curricular experiences possible for our students. Even if your child isn’t out for sports yet or old enough to participate, it’s a great way to get connected, meet people and to “ROCK” Sacred Heart! The volleyball team is out to a fantastic 8-2 start, our young football team has done great things and has a bright future ahead, and our co-ops provide a variety of options for all athletes and are thriving. Please consider jumping on board and signing up to help at these events. Just click the links and pick a time slot and job!!!
