Children's Liturgy of the Word

 Each Sunday Sacred Heart offers the Children Liturgy of the Word. During the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, youngsters from age 3 through 2^nd grade are invited to join a team of adult and young adult catechists during the Liturgy of the Word to learn more about the weeks reading and to hear the Word of God in a language that young children can understand. Children will also complete an activity that applies to the readings and offers a concrete, hands-on connection to the Word of God for that week.  

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Schedule

1^st and 3^rd Sundays: 10:30 Mass

2^nd and 4^th Sundays: 9:00 Mass

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is run by a great team of catechists, but help is always needed. Adults, teens and middle school students are encouraged to help. Contact Fr. Larry Delaney if you can help in this ministry at 773.0877.
